Ministry Volunteer Southern Botswana
The Disciples Making Disciples Botswana Trust seeks to fill the above position.
Duties include:
- To administer daily operations of the trust in Southern Botswana including recording keeping of all meetings and decisions, financial matters and representing the Trust in public matters.
- To recommend others, who are Christians, to assist you in this role as Ministry Volunteers for Southern Botswana.
- To develop discipleship activities to educate and inform men, women, and children to live according to strong moral values based on Christian Discipleship principles.
- To capacity build churches, ministries, businesses, and government to engage in prosperous, productive and innovative business practices based on Christian Leadership principles.
- To equip churches, ministries, businesses, and government to engage in compassionate, just, and caring community-based programmes that seeks to reduce crime, HIV/AIDS, divorce, unwed pregnancies and increase health and literacy to develop a safe and secure nation based on Christian Outreach principles.
Qualifications:
- Strong Christian character, witness and testimony for more than 10 years as supported by a letter of recommendation from a Christian Church
- Bachelors degree or higher in Theology or Ministry or acceptable related field
- 2 or more years of practical ministry experience.
- Ministry experience in Botswana preferred but not required.
- Ordination by a Baptist church preferred
- Strong commitment to Baptist beliefs and practices preferred.
- Documentary proof of being fully self-supported
- The person must supply proof of their own funding for everything.
- The Trust does not provide any compensation or any reimbursement for anything. This includes, but not limited to, housing, utilities, medical, transportation/fuel or ministry expenses.
- Must provide own computer, internet service, vehicle, and smart phone.
- Must be available to be on call at all times including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week is required.
- English speaking, reading, and writing at a university or college level proficiency
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Motswana preferred, but all interested persons should apply
Period of Employment:
- 01 January 2024 to 31 December 2034
- Period may be extended upon mutual agreement
