Kingdom Impact Unfolding: A Powerful Mission Update from Botswana
God is Moving in Botswana – Here’s How You’re Part of the Story
“We Were Moved to Tears…” – An Update from Botswana
Dear Friends and Partners,
We write to you with full hearts and deep gratitude. We returned to Botswana in September 2024. Since then, God has been working in both quiet and powerful ways. Your faithful prayers and support have allowed us to keep pressing ahead in the work.
Reconnecting, Rebuilding, and Renewing Vision
Soon after we arrived, we began reconnecting with pastors and leaders across the Central District. We also addressed some overlooked home repairs—including draining excess rainwater from our yard. After nearly 40 years of drought, Botswana received so much rain that even the capital, Gaborone, experienced widespread flooding. While heartbreaking to witness the damage, we rejoice that the land has been refreshed, and the animals are thriving. But then, something unexpected happened…
A Moment We’ll Never Forget
During a recent visit, Pastor Wendell Robinson and his wife, Lisa, joined us for a pastor’s meeting in Serowe. We expected to hear about ministry needs—but instead, pastor after pastor stood up, not with complaints, but with testimonies. They shared how the ministry has affected their churches and communities over the last three years. Their words brought us to tears.

We serve to build God’s Kingdom, not our reputation. Their testimonies were a powerful affirmation. God is at work through this ministry. These same pastors also opened up about their challenges. They struggled in particular to secure access to land and church buildings. Additionally, they faced obstacles in overcoming traditional spiritual strongholds. Pastor Robinson was deeply stirred. He challenged the pastors to start a 30-day fast and prayer. They specifically asked God to bring even the witch doctors to Christ.
He left convinced: there is great work to be done in Botswana. He plans to return with a short-term mission team in 2026.
That team can include you! If God is stirring your heart, let us know. We’d love to help you connect!
New Missionary, New Vision
We are filled with gratitude to God. We are blessed to welcome our newest missionaries, Vanissa and her daughter, Delight Grace, from the Philippines. This is their first time ever leaving their home country—and their residence permits were approved through November 2029! When God opens a door, He makes a way. We hosted them for cultural training, Setswana basics, and preparation for their home and ministry in Francistown. Vanissa plans to start children’s programs. These include outreach, a feeding program, and after-school tutoring. She will have the support of Lloyd and Gina, our seasoned Filipino missionaries. Wendie will also give mentorship.

She shared something that moved us deeply:
“Thank you so much for enduring all the trials and problems for the past 11 years. You have sacrificed a lot. It is all by God’s amazing grace. And it came to pass that we are one of your fruits.”
Stories of Transformation: Rre Majoni
At 98, Rre Majoni never imagined how dramatically his life would change in his final years. A former diviner who helped people locate water, he lived most of his life steeped in traditional practices. But everything changed the day he walked into Rehoboth Transformation Church of Christ in Mabeleapudi. There, he encountered the love of Jesus through Pastor Dan.
On Resurrection Sunday 2025, Pastor James was preaching on baptism from Romans 6. The church was celebrating the risen Savior. During this time, Rre Majoni was asked if he wanted to be baptized. He declared:
“Absolutely! That is why I am here.
I am ready and I want to be baptized today!!”
Without hesitation, he stepped into the water and was baptized — alongside 1 man, 2 women, and 10 children!! It was a powerful moment of public faith in Jesus and surrender to the Holy Spirit.
Your support made that moment possible.
Your giving helps us reach remote villages, disciple new believers, and bring the gospel to those furthest away from Jesus.
Your donation today can help bring the hope of Christ,
transforming lives for eternity, to the next Rre Majoni.
An Urgent Need: Sponsor a Pastor
Many people are being misled by false teachings and unprepared leaders and are distant from the heart of God. That’s why we’re starting a Pastor Sponsorship Program. We will offer rural pastors a 3-year, comprehensive biblical training program with 16 courses and a free Bible.

For just $24/month for 3 years, you can sponsor a pastor in a remote village up to 125 miles away from our ministry base in Serowe — places with no evangelical presence, where Christianity is still mixed with ancestor worship and witchcraft …
Increase it to $64/month for 3 years, and you can help equip 3 pastors!!
Would you consider becoming a monthly partner to sponsor a pastor?
Together, we can spread the true gospel where it’s needed the most!!
Share the Divine Message:
You can help spread God’s Word by donating just $3 per bible. Each Bible you give brings hope. It brings truth and transformation to someone. They have never held the Word of God in their hands.

Central Missionary Clearinghouse (CMC) deducts a $3.50 admin fee from each gift designation. The larger the gift, the more of your gift goes directly to your chosen ministry projects. To make sure your gift goes to the intended project, include the project name with your donation. Specify either “Pastors” or “Bibles.” If you don’t specify, we’ll use your gift where it will make the greatest difference in your life! Together, we can bring the life-changing message of Jesus to hearts and homes across Botswana.
Even the smallest recurring gift can make a
powerful difference
especially when multiplied by
prayer and obedience.
Prayer Points
- For the pastors, fasting and praying for revival in their communities
- For Vanissa and Delight Grace as they adjust and start ministry in Francistown
- For wisdom as we build the Pastor Sponsorship Program

Let’s keep going—together. We can go further, reach deeper, and shine brighter… when we walk in faith, side by side.
With love and gratitude, Your Missionary Partners in Botswana
