We met Harold Friend over thirty years ago. He had a troubled past, yet God transformed his life. He became kind, joyful, and eager to share Jesus. As he aged, he asked us to care for him and guide his health decisions. Even in dementia, he continued to witness for Christ, trusting God’s plan. God redeems every broken life completely. He takes our mistakes, pain, and regrets and turns them into hope and purpose. He gives strength to persevere, restores what is lost, and fills our hearts with peace. God makes every life a testimony.

Pastors across Botswana carry a deep hunger for God’s Word, yet many rural leaders have limited access to advanced biblical training. In Serowe, God opened a powerful door through partnership with the African Pastors Conference. One hundred seventeen pastors gathered for intensive teaching on Christ throughout Scripture. The Lord’s provision extended beyond the classroom, as deeply discounted theological books sold out and every attendee received additional books and a Bible free of charge. What began as spiritual hunger became a testimony of joyful provision, renewed vision, and strengthened leaders equipped to feed others.

Now, as we apply for permanent residence, we rest in the same faithful promise that has never failed. God always provides. Through the prayers of friends, the letters of pastors, and the grace of God’s favor, we see His purpose unfolding. Every answered prayer reminds us that when God calls His people to serve, He also supplies all their needs. His faithfulness is our foundation.
