God Awakens Faith: Inspiring Hope and Lasting Spiritual Growth
In Botswana, children form the heartbeat of many churches. They arrive early, sit near the front, and listen with wide-eyed expectation. Many come without parents. It is not because parents do not care. Life’s pressures, poverty, and broken circumstances often keep adults away. Still, parents recognize that the church offers their children safety, hope, and moral guidance. Between the ages of four and fourteen, hearts stay tender, open, and ready to respond. They notice every word, every action, and every expression of love. When children hear the gospel, God awakens faith within them. They trust, they believe, and they accept the truth that can shape a lifetime. These young hearts are not merely the church of tomorrow. They are the church of today. The church does not wait for maturity to matter. It honors the current moment, knowing that faith awakened early often bears fruit for eternity. Every smile, every lesson, and every small act of care can leave a lasting mark.
Children are full members of God’s kingdom, not someday, but today. We will do everything in our power to help them follow Christ and grow strong in faith. Sister Wendie has championed children’s outreach for more than twenty years. She models compassion and care in ways that speak louder than words. Through her leadership, we have partnered with several local churches to strengthen their children’s ministries across Botswana. We offer them Sunday School curriculum, school supplies, backpacks, shoes, and snacks at no cost. Each resource equips children to hear, accept, and live the gospel faithfully. Sister Wendie regularly speaks at churches about the need to share the Gospel with children every day. She teaches the Sunday School teachers how to help children to pray, worship, serve, and abide in Christ. Born-again children experience the Spirit’s guidance and grow in courage, obedience, and love for others. Parents witness love expressed through action, and communities see the gospel made tangible. Every act of generosity carries a message: God cares, and He works through His people. God awakens faith in children, and the church nurtures what He has begun, trusting His Spirit to carry it onward. This work is not measured in numbers alone but in lives transformed, hearts formed, and joy multiplied.
Wendie embraces every child with love, hope, and the joy of Christ.
Each heart she touches today grows in faith, courage, and the promise of a life fully alive in God’s kingdom.

God awakens faith in every willing heart. He does this regardless of age, circumstance, or background. He draws children close, teaching them to abide in Him and to bear fruit that glorifies the Father. Faith awakened early grows deep roots, produces lasting spiritual fruit, and fills hearts with joy that endures beyond fleeting circumstances. Jesus said in John 15:11 that, “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full”. When God awakens faith, He begins a work that carries eternal significance. The church’s role is to accept, disciple, and celebrate it. Every child who follows Christ with a fully alive heart becomes a living testimony of God’s power and love. The kingdom advances, joy multiplies, and God is glorified now and forever. Faith awakened in the youngest becomes the church’s strength. It is the community’s hope. It is a treasure in heaven that will never fade.
