God Speaks Your Language: Divine Provision Activates Heart Ministry Growth

God’s glory is spreading across Africa in ways that inspire awe and ignite hope. This is the first of many stories we will share. Each one is a vivid testament to the mighty works we have seen. Every story reveals how deeply the Lord loves the people of Africa. He moves powerfully to bring light. He brings healing and transformation to hearts and communities. Through these stories, you will see His faithfulness. You will also witness His mercy. His unstoppable love reaches places that once felt far from Him.

Eight years ago, we began a journey with World Hope Bible Institute to train pastors and ministry leaders across Botswana. Many of them faithfully serve in small villages, leading churches with deep commitment but limited access to formal theological education. Some can’t afford tuition, others lack transportation or a steady internet connection, and many speak only Setswana. Until now, the training materials have been available only in English. Yet, this past week, we received fantastic news. World Hope has raised the necessary funds to translate the full curriculum into Setswana. The completion date is set for December 2, 2025. Our hearts overflowed with joy. We realized this will powerfully open the door for hundreds more pastors and leaders. They can now study God’s Word in the language of their hearts.

James shared the news with pastors in Thabala, Mmashoro, Mabeleapudi, and Masunga. Their responses captured the heartbeat of the nation. Pastor Benjamin Kabika said with delight, “Great. People will enjoy reading the material.” Pastor Louis Thanile’s voice trembled with gratitude. Pastors Dan Gasebolelwe and Kutlo Mokgethi praised God for His goodness. This translation will reach more than 200 pastors and ministry leaders. They will now have access to study, teach, and disciple others using materials they fully understand. In that moment, we were reminded that God’s Word has never been bound by language, culture, or geography. He always finds a way to speak life into the hearts of His people.

Because of your generous support, local pastors and ministry leaders are being equipped with life-changing biblical truth. These theological workshops are transforming hearts. They are strengthening churches. Voices of hope are being raised to carry the Gospel deep into their communities.

God longs for every soul to hear Him clearly. He caused the gospel to be heard in many tongues on the day of Pentecost. He continues to make His truth known. He uses languages that reach the deepest places of the human heart. When you pray for this work, you join in that divine miracle of communication. “Then they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:4). That same Spirit continues to speak through every translated word. Let it bring light, life, and understanding to the villages of Botswana. Let it reach beyond.
